MicroCore-11/Adapt11 Bridgeplane

Description:
The "Bridgeplane" maps the 26-pin MicroCore-11 I/O connector to the corresponding 68HC11 signals on the Adapt11 50-pin I/O connector.  It can also be used with Adapt12 boards (equivalent pins shown in the table).

Example Uses:

  • Control any of the MicroCore-11 motor driver boards with an Adapt11 or Adapt12 board
  • Use a 50-pin Display/Keyboard/Keypad Interface (DKKI) card with MicroCore-11
    • some re-map jumpering required on DKKI
    • keypad circuit can't be used (not enough I/O pins on MicroCore-11)
  • Use any Adapt-series prototyping card with MicroCore-11 when you need a lot of prototyping area
Connector Configurations:
The standard configuration is shown in the photo above.  The connector option sequence is from front to back (starting with the 50-pin connectors).  In some cases, other connector options make sense.  For example:  to add on a backplane or ribbon cable, you might want RA or FRA in position 1 and/or position 4 (Order Code:  MC11AD11BP1-RA-F-F-RA).

Ordering Information:
MC11AD11BP1-X-X-X-X
Example (shown in photo):  AD11MC11BP1-F-F-F-F
(or AD11MC11BP1-4F, for short)
